Testing and Prevention

Adult health maintenance visits (annual physicals), PrEP and PEP, cancer screenings, and nutrition consultations can be accessed through our medical department. Additional screenings are available on a walk-in basis in our prevention department.

HIV Testing

Care Resource offers free confidential HIV counseling and rapid testing to everyone, with priority given to pregnant or parenting women and anyone using injection drugs. In addition to offering services at our offices, services are also offered in the comfort of your home. We can also provide information on how to access medical services if necessary.

Hepatitis C

Care Resource now offers Hepatitis C (HCV) Rapid testing for uninsured clients who are also being tested for HIV, in all of our office locations (same hours as above), as well as on our mobile units. We can provide education about HCV, confirmatory blood testing, and assistance with linkage to care and treatment, if necessary.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

COVID-19 vaccinations, testing, and treatment services are available at all our health centers. We recommend staying up-to-date with the latest COVID-19 vaccines to ensure your continued health and safety. To discuss your vaccination options, please schedule an appointment with a Care Resource provider. Additionally, you can participate in our COVID-19 Vaccine Equity events held throughout the South Florida area.
