Earthquake did not affect the Health Centers

On Tuesday, Jan 28, 2020, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake occurred between Cuba and Jamaica. It was a relatively strong but shallow quake with a depth of about 6 miles.

The earthquake was strong enough to affect parts of south Florida leading to building evacuations in Miami after vibrations from the powerful earthquake were felt. According to the City of Miami Police, there were reports of vibrations in Downtown and Brickell, although, there were no injuries or damages reported.

Care Resource is fortunate to report that none of our Centers were affected by the earthquake. We are closely monitoring the news and will provide updates as they become available.
