Biography
Cuban-born Leonardo Castillo graduated from La Habana Medical School in 2004. Holding both a Master of Science in Nursing and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) from Miami Regional University, Leonardo Castillo is a licensed APRN in Florida.
Leonardo previously worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Care Resource for two years before becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Leonardo states, “In my role, I recognize and respect the family’s strengths as caregivers and supplement those strengths to benefit children. I also partner with patients and their families to promote self and shared management, including health promotion and disease prevention.”
Leonardo speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
