Lyndsey Elsass, MA, RMHCI
Biography
Lyndsey Elsass is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and compassionate environment. She provides client-centered care and works collaboratively with clients to promote growth, healing, and well-being.
Lyndsey earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has experience supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, including addiction, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and codependency.
Before joining Care Resource, Lyndsey worked at a nonprofit opioid addiction treatment center. There, she provided services to clients seeking medication-assisted treatment. She also gained experience in private practice, where she delivered therapy to a diverse group of clients.
Counseling Approach
Lyndsey uses a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help clients identify goals and make meaningful changes.
She strives to create a welcoming, calm, and comfortable space where clients can feel at ease. Lyndsey believes that a strong therapeutic relationship can help clients build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve the changes they seek.
