Biography

Javier Deleo was born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, Florida. Javier graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2011 with experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, and community pharmacy.

Javier Deleo has been interested in pharmacy since high school when his chemistry teacher inspired him to get into the field of pharmacy and always talked about how important pharmacists are.

While at university in 2003, Javier volunteered at the local hospital pharmacy and was fortunate enough to get offered a position as an IV Pharmacy Technician. Since then, he never looked back and has had extensive experience in different areas of pharmacy.

Javier states “I enjoy being part of our Care Resource team because of the culture and mission to help out people in the community. I plan on working hard to help develop the pharmacy department and contribute to the overall health of all our patients in each community.”

Javier is passionate about teaching, working with others, helping the community. and is AAHIVM certified. For fun, Javier likes to spend time with his family, travel, watch sports, and the outdoors and has a great love of cars.
