Biography
Francisco Gomez is the Director of Housing Services at Care Resource, where he brings over 16 years of experience in affordable housing, healthcare, and community services.
Since joining the organization in 2009 as a Housing Case Manager, Francisco has demonstrated exceptional leadership, earning promotions to Senior Case Manager, Services Supervisor, and Housing Services Manager before being named Director in 2024.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Francisco holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Santa Maria University.
He is a licensed real estate professional, a certified HCV inspector, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Francisco began his career in South Florida in 2001 as a Hepatitis Counselor with the Florida Department of Health in Broward County.
At Care Resource, he has led the expansion of the Housing Case Management team from just two case managers to 26, supported by nearly $7 million in grant funding across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
He is deeply committed to advancing housing equity, developing sustainable housing solutions, and strengthening community partnerships to improve the lives of vulnerable populations.
Outside of work, Francisco enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, relaxing at the beach, and indulging in his favorite Italian cuisine.
