Biography
Dr. Alexia Montas is a board-certified family medicine doctor and Florida native. She is proud to serve South Florida and provide high-quality, patient-focused primary care.
Dr. Montas earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. She then completed both her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at St. George’s University School of Medicine. During her MPH program, she worked on public health projects, including reproductive health education in Grenada and research on barriers to HIV care in Miami.
She completed her family medicine residency at Baton Rouge General, where she served as Chief Resident. While there, she contributed to medical research and helped lead quality improvement efforts.
Dr. Alexia Montas is passionate about preventive care, reproductive health, and helping people stay well. She is committed to building strong relationships with her patients at Care Resource and improving access to care in the Miami area.
