Biography
As the Chief Development Officer at Care Resource Community Health Centers, Ron Ledain directs fundraising, grants, contracts, prevention services, and strategic communications. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and non-profit management, Ron has a track record of driving initiatives focused on enhancing healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities. His passion for bridging gaps in access and his expertise in healthcare marketing make him a key player in advancing Care Resource’s mission.
Notably, he established Care Resource’s Medical Voucher Program, providing free medical checkups and routine labs to uninsured individuals. From 2019 to 2024, Ron served as the Project Director for the DARE Program, which focuses on addressing social determinants and unmet needs for people living with HIV.
Ron’s background includes work with international non-profits such as Plan International, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the United Nations Development Program in Haiti, where he served as a Consultant and Program Evaluator. His commitment to the community extends to volunteering as a Board Member for the Rotary Club of Little Haiti (2021-2023) and for The Children’s Trust (2023) as a grant reviewer.
He holds an MBA from Florida International University and currently lives in North Miami with his wife, son, and mother. In his free time, Ron enjoys traveling, screenwriting, and architectural remodeling.
