Biography
Wendy was born in Belem, Brazil and moved to the US in 1990. Wendy received her Doctor’s degree from Touro University Nevada, MSN and BSN degrees from Florida International University.
She is licensed through the Arizona State Board of Nursing, Texas Board of Nursing, and the Florida Board of Nurse as a Nurse Practitioner. Wendy is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner, is also a member of the America Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Honor Society of Nursing-Sigma Theta Tau International.
Wendy admires Care Resource’s mission that “Through education, prevention, research, care and treatment, and support services it can improve upon the health and overall quality of life of our diverse South Florida communities in need.”
She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Wendy said that she enjoys traveling, exercising, and outdoor sports.
