Working Together to Create an AIDS-Free Generation

MIAMI, FL. (November 2018)

The 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day will be marked on December 1, 2018. Since 1988, the AIDS response has made significant progress and today millions of people living with HIV are leading healthy and productive lives. World AIDS Day is about increasing awareness, fighting stigma, improving education, mobilizing resources and raising funds for the global response to HIV and AIDS.

HIV is preventable, and you can reduce or eliminate your risk. Early detection can lead to early treatment and better outcomes. Many people live long, normal lives with early detection and proper care because the advancements in HIV options have been significant.

Testing yourself for HIV is important for your health, your relationships, your life, and your future.

The only way to know for sure whether you have HIV is to get tested. CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 gets tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care.

Care Resource will participate in the below community events. Mark your calendar, learn your status and help us work together for an AIDS-Free Generation.
