Biography

Rafael Jimenez is Director of Social Services and Food for Life Network, Inc. Rafael joined Care Resource in 2008 as a volunteer and joined the staff as a Medical Case Manager. Rafael served Care Resource in various capacities including Senior Medical Case Manager, Supervisor, and Manager in the Case Management Department. Rafael’s tenure in Social Services began with Pasadena Mental Health Center, a non-profit community-based center in Pasadena CA. Rafael was later recruited by College Hospital Cerritos to develop a successful Latino Program serving the Hispanic Community in Los Angeles County, CA. Rafael ‘retired’ from the grocery industry in Southern CA and his experience in managing grocery departments has served the leadership as Director for Food for Life Network., Inc.

Rafael has family roots in Miami since 1990 and has personally resided in Miami since 2007. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Azusa Pacific University, CA.
