Biography
Nicole Moroz received her Master’s Degree at California State University, Fresno and has been in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. Since then, Nicole has done extensive work in forensic counseling with both adults and adolescents.
Earlier in her career, Nicole had the great pleasure of working at Corcoran State Prison in California and at a high-level Department of Juvenile Justice residential treatment facility in Florida. She has also been employed in various roles ranging from Case Management, Counselor, and as Admissions Coordinator in multiple locations throughout the country.
In addition to working with adults, Nicole has vast experience with in- home therapy for children and adolescents at risk of out of home placement.
Her approach includes Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other Evidenced Based Models.
In this journey, Nicole has also gained extensive experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. In this chapter of her career, Nicole has been working with Medically Assisted Treatment patients and has a strong working knowledge of substance abuse and addiction.
