Biography
Dr. Marie R. Samuela Jasmin is a dual Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Her passion for Psychiatric Mental Health began in Haiti where she attained her MD in 1995 from the School of Medicine at the State University of Haiti. She then went on to obtain her Master of Public Health with a dual focus in Health Systems Administration and Family Health at the University of Montemorelos in Mexico.
After moving to the United States, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Florida Atlantic University. She has extensive experience working with individuals affected with psychiatric and or substance abuse disorders, ranging from children to adults.
Marie Rose is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Haitian-Creole. Her multinational academic background allows her to understand and work comfortably with people from an array of cultures. Her approach is to secure her patients’ physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being.
Her sole focus aims towards empowering her patients to find joy, peace, and balance by personalizing treatment plans that are based on the individual’s needs, preferences, and values. She prides herself on her ability to give her patients’ her full attention and maintain a positive environment to help them reach their therapeutic goals.
