Jonathan Welsh, MPA, Director of Marketing and Communications

Biography

Jonathan Welsh serves as Care Resource’s Director of Marketing and Communications. 

He received his Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of Miami. He received his Master of Public Administration from Barry University.

Jonathan has served locally and internationally as a community organizer and leader.

As a Site Director in camping services, Jonathan implemented an array of youth development programs throughout the state of Florida.

As an NGO Capacity Builder with the United States Peace Corps, he strengthened links between government and volunteer organizations in addressing the needs of communities affected by HIV/AIDS. 

As a Communications and Public Policy liaison for a patient-membership organization, he built an advocacy program that mobilized and engaged patients with chronic health conditions in healthcare advocacy activities at the state and Federal level.

He serves an integral communications and development role in ensuring that the health center’s programs and services are showcased to stakeholders, government officials, community partners, and the greater South Florida community.
