John Sheridan, APRN, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Biography

John Sheridan is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bridgewater State University.

John’s passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care has been a driving force throughout his career. His dedication to supporting individuals with mental health challenges began in a refugee clinic and an Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) center. His experience providing direct inpatient care to burns, plastic reconstruction, and COVID-19 patients in the surgical and intensive care, have further shaped his clinical approach and professional journey.

Since joining Care Resource in 2021, John has made significant contributions to patient care and program development. He played a key role in coordinating and implementing medical injectables for HIV prevention and treatment, as well as Care Resource’s Remote Patient Monitoring Program.

John has been fortunate to work in a variety of clinical settings. His passion for providing holistic, evidence-based care to diverse populations continues to drive his commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities he serves.
