HRSA COVID-19 Funding has provided a major boost to Care Resource’s pandemic response. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded $1.68 million to support expanded telehealth services and protect frontline healthcare workers. This funding allows Care Resource to treat symptomatic and quarantined patients through virtual platforms. By reducing in-person visits, the organization helps limit the spread of COVID-19 to the broader community and medical staff. The grant also supports infrastructure upgrades and safety protocols across Care Resource’s health centers.

“Telehealth has become a vital tool in our fight against COVID-19,” said a Care Resource spokesperson. “This HRSA COVID-19 funding ensures we can continue to deliver care while keeping patients and staff safe.”

The grant is part of a broader federal initiative to strengthen community health centers during the pandemic. Care Resource is a Federally Qualified Health Center, serving the communities across South Florida.

In addition to telehealth, the funding supports COVID-19 testing, treatment, and education. Patients can access services in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Care Resource also offers behavioral health and primary care services to support overall wellness during the pandemic.

This HRSA COVID-19 funding reflects a commitment to equitable healthcare access. It enables Care Resource to continue serving patients safely, efficiently, and with compassion.
