ADAP eligibility is currently available for individuals and households with incomes up to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Based on the 2026 federal poverty guidelines, a single-person household may qualify with an annual income of approximately $63,840 or less. Larger households may qualify at higher income levels. Eligibility is determined through the ADAP enrollment process.
What Does ADAP Cover?
ADAP helps eligible clients by providing:
- Access to HIV medications
- A comprehensive ADAP medication formulary
- Medication copay assistance
- Medication deductible assistance
The program is designed to help eligible Floridians maintain uninterrupted access to HIV treatment and care.
Does ADAP Pay Insurance Premiums?
At this time, ADAP does not provide assistance with health insurance premiums.
However, eligible clients with insurance coverage may still qualify for assistance with:
- HIV medication copays
- HIV medication deductibles
Are HIV Medications Available Through ADAP?
Yes. Florida’s ADAP formulary has been restored and continues to provide access to approved HIV medications for eligible clients.
