Biography
David Voorhees has lived in South Florida for years since his military service at Homestead Air Force Base. Previously, David earned a BA degree from Michigan State University and a BS degree from the University of Florida.
Voorhees’ professional career has primarily been in Commercial Aviation. He is currently a Senior Agent in the Security Division of the Broward County Aviation Department at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
David has a history of volunteering for the AIDS Walk Miami and White Party events and has participated in various government-sponsored HIV-related clinical trials, some of which were overseen by Dr. Steven Santiago. Additionally, David has been an active volunteer with the Miami Dolphins Food Relief Program and Plymouth Congregational Church’s meal initiative at the Chapman Partnership Homeless Assistance Center in Miami.
A longtime Care Resource patient/client in Miami, Voorhees now lives in Broward County and is pleased to continue that relationship at Care Resource’s Oakland Park location.
