Food for Life to Receive 5% of Proceeds from Select Whole Foods Market Stores on Thursday, October 18, 2018
When the South Florida community shops at Whole Foods Market stores in Aventura, Coral Gables, and Miami on Thursday, October 18, 2018, 5% of the day’s net sales from these store locations will be donated to Food For Life Network, Inc.’s Meals on Wheels program.
Since 1987, Food For Life Network’s staff and its volunteers have provided over 2 million meals and groceries to people living with chronic illness and those with emergency food assistance needs. Currently, Food For Life Network food bank serves just over 48,000 meals and groceries each year.
The “Meals on Wheels” program at Food For Life Network, Inc. is available for those who qualify and can no longer travel easily in the Metro Miami Dade area. Groceries and/or Ready-to-eat meals, frozen meals and breakfast items are delivered weekly. Home Delivered Groceries are provided to a limited number of residents. Participating Whole Foods Market locations include:

- 7930 SW 104th Street, Miami
- 299 SE 3rd Street, Miami
- 12150 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami
- 1020 Alton Road, South Beach
Whole Foods Market’s Store Level Giving Program is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations in their stores’ local communities that have limited budgets and big hearts.
