Biography
Erika N. Victorino is a fellowship-trained Addiction Medicine physician and Internal Medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate primary care to underserved communities. She specializes in integrating substance use disorder treatment into primary care, believing that addiction treatment shouldn’t exist in isolation but as part of holistic patient care.
Dr. Victorino completed her Internal Medicine residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, followed by an ACGME-accredited Addiction Medicine fellowship at Larkin Health System, where she served as Chief Fellow. Her training encompasses the full continuum of care, including inpatient detoxification, outpatient addiction clinics, pain management, and community-based treatment programs.
Dr. Victorino provides comprehensive primary care—including management of chronic diseases and preventive health—alongside evidence-based addiction treatment, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), harm reduction strategies, and trauma-informed approaches for substance use disorders and behavioral addictions. She has a special passion for supporting women with substance use disorders. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to reducing stigma, expanding access to care, and advancing integrated treatment models that improve health outcomes in underserved communities.
A member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM), Dr. Victorino stays current with the latest advances in addiction treatment and evidence-based practices.
A Miami native, Dr. Victorino earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ponce Health Sciences University and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida International University. Outside of medicine, Dr. Victorino enjoys learning to play the drums and is a horror film enthusiast.
