Biography
Huston Ochoa received his Master of Social Work from Florida International University. His journey to clinical social work has been diverse and unconventional. Starting in the field of photography and film, he managed demanding teams to execute creative endeavors. Huston would use creativity and resourcefulness into the multidimensional needs of the helping profession.
Huston’s clinical experience began with bereaved adolescents and children in the dependency court. He gained valuable experience working with early trauma, grief, families, and the legal system. Today, Huston is a well-established group facilitator and member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, assisting persons with nearly every known mental health concern.
As a dedicated social worker, Huston takes a holistic approach to healing. We are all connected to our families, neighborhoods, social and environmental systems. If we are to heal a person, then every aspect of their surroundings must be considered.
