The health center is glad to welcome Dr. Efrain Garcia, MD and his team of compassionate, committed and competent support staff as part of Care Resource. Dr. Garcia is an infectious disease specialist. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.
According to Garcia, “My support team and I will continue to provide for the community’s healthcare needs at our state-of-the-art-facility located at Mercy Hospital. The health, comfort, and confidentiality of our patients will remain our utmost priority. In merging with Care Resource, I know that we are joining an organization that shares our philosophy of providing “healthcare from the heart” every day.”
Care Resource is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with facilities in Midtown Miami, Little Havana, (Miami-Dade), Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The health center provides comprehensive health and support services to address the full health care needs of our pediatric, adolescent and adult populations.
