Care Resource Recognized for Quality Care by the Joint Commission

Receiving the National Gold Seal of Approval in Health Care

In October, Care Resource was reaccredited by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care, for an additional three-year cycle.

Through periodic and unannounced accreditation surveys of facilities, the Joint Commission assessed Care Resource on more than 250 standards concerning patient safety and quality of care.

The Joint Commission evaluates compliance with nationally established standards for quality of care and safety of the health care environment. In addition, the Joint Commission aids organizations in identifying and resolving problems concerning organizational functioning, safety, quality of care, and treatment. Joint Commission standards are the basis of an objective evaluation process that can help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance.

Furthermore, reaccreditation points to the health center’s sound management practices in the day-to-day delivery of safe and high-quality care. This Gold Seal of Approval is a victory for every staff member, as they are integral in maintaining the standards that enable the health center to provide quality care.

Joint Commission accreditation means Care Resource complies with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care and is committed to continually improving patient care. We are truly honored to receive these designations for the third time. It brings us great pride to be able to provide high-quality, personalized care for our deserving patients.” -Nichole Roberts, Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement

Care Resource is honored to achieve Joint Commission accreditation and remains dedicated to improvement efforts in the interest of patient safety and quality of care.
