Biography
Dr. Mariana Abreu was born in Ft. Lauderdale and raised in Wellington, Florida. She received her B.S. from Florida State University. Before pursuing her career in dentistry, she worked as a dental assistant and a teacher. It was here she realized that her passion is with dentistry and promoting oral health. She returned to school and received her M.S degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University. She matriculated into Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated top of the class as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
During her time at Tufts, Dr. Abreu was an active volunteer, providing dental care to an underserved population. She plans to continue her mission of giving back throughout her career and hopes to one day create an outreach program that will make a difference around the world.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Abreu enjoys spending time with her husband and English bulldog or going for long runs.
