Biography
Jennifer Palmer received her Bachelors in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University. Which is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Her Master’s in Social Work was acquired in December 2019.
Ms. Palmer has well over 10 plus years of extensive experience that includes, but is not limited to, working with the suburban and inner city population of Broward and Miami-Dade County. Her clinical background includes working with the homeless population, HIV Positive, and LGBT adult groups and their respective families. Jennifer’s approach to assisting clients begins with meeting clients where they are mentally, first and foremost.
Since becoming an employee at Care Resource, I have had the opportunity to start a Women’s HIV Support Group. This accomplishment was also recognized and acknowledged with the Three C’s award. Competent, Compassion, Commitment to the cause of changing a life. Ms. Palmer is also the Co-Chair of BTAN (Black Treatment Advocacy Network).
Jennifer’s passion stems from being able to personally relate to her clients, which enables her to have the ability to offer hope and encouragement to those specific individuals in need. Ms. Palmer also provides crisis intervention to those clients that are in duress and assesses the challenges they face. Best practice approaches are always used by Ms. Palmer to address the needs of her clients.
