Biography
Ivan Bado is the Human Resources Director. He joined the Care Resource team in 2018.
Mr. Bado currently oversees the recruitment and retention of high-quality personnel, develops, and manages the Human Resources Department, and is one of the main liaisons between all management levels within the different departments for the health center.
He works closely to ensure safety and equal treatment for all staff members at the health center. He is a firm believer in applying an open-door policy in his department. His key phrases for success in the business are “good communication leads to excellence” and “we always move forward”.
As the Director of Human Resources, Mr. Bado is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for the full complement of core human capital programs, policies, and services.
This includes providing leadership and direction in developing HR policies that promote maximum effectiveness in the health center workforce while supporting the health center’s mission and vision.
A native of Puerto Rico, Ivan has more than 25 years of experience of responsible and progressive experience in Human Resources management.
He has acquired experience in both the private and public sectors including non-profit organizations.
With a specialization in Human Resource Management, he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2005. Mr. Bado has been an active member of the SHRM since 2001.
