The SPOT began as a foundational gift made by Peter B. Cinelli, M.D., a retired New York surgeon and Fort Lauderdale philanthropist. Additional funding was provided by United Way of Broward County, Care Resource, the Fishman Family, and a Gilead FOCUS award.
