Biography
Francisco Gomez Director of Housing Services at Care Resource brings more than 16 years of experience in housing, healthcare, and community programs. He began his career in South Florida in 2001 as a Hepatitis Counselor with the Florida Department of Health in Broward County.
Francisco joined Care Resource in 2009 as a Housing Case Manager. Over time, he advanced through several leadership roles, including Senior Case Manager, Services Supervisor, and Housing Services Manager. In 2024, he was named Director of Housing Services.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Francisco earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Santa Maria University. He also holds a Florida Real Estate License, is a certified HCV inspector, and has earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
At Care Resource, Francisco has led the growth of the Housing Case Management team from two case managers to 26. This expansion was made possible through nearly $7 million in grant funding across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
He focuses on building strong partnerships, improving housing access, and developing sustainable solutions for individuals and families. His leadership continues to strengthen the impact of Care Resource in the region.
Outside of work, Francisco enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying Italian cuisine.
