Care Resource takes great pride in bringing much needed healthcare services to South Florida’s communities most in need, improve upon health care in our community and work with like-minded organization in bringing “healthcare from the heart“ every day.
In this regard, the health center is excited to welcome the new Walgreens pharmacy located right-down-the-hall (Suite 260) from Care Resource’s temporary midtown Miami location on the second floor of 3801 Biscayne Boulevard.
This continued accessibility empowers patients with complex conditions to access their specialty and traditional medications, navigate the complexities of their treatment and receive comprehensive support when and where they need it most.
In addition to the store relocation, in 2017, 65 select Walgreens stores in 5 different districts in Miami-Dade County raised $16,955 in their most recent cash-wrap campaign benefiting Care Resource. At the checkout lines, shoppers who were interested in donating had options to donate $1, $3 or $5 to Care Resource. This campaign continues to support the educational and medical programs of Care Resource and assists in combating the effects of HIV/AIDS to expand access to affordable and quality healthcare to South Florida’s communities most in need.
