Special Funds

Building for the Future Capital Fund

Our Building for the Future Capital Fund supports our ongoing renovations and expansions for our health centers in Midtown Miami, Little Havana, and Fort Lauderdale. With these projects, we can build upon our history of care for the most vulnerable in our community. Donate Now

The SPOT™ Fund

The SPOT™ (Special Purpose Outreach Team) is a mobile medical clinic working with historically underserved communities in Broward County to provide high-quality and affordable healthcare, focusing on combatting the ongoing opioid crisis and HIV epidemic. It is the only Syringe Services Program (SSP) approved by the Broward County Commission and relies largely upon grants and private donations due to the limited and restrictive funding available from the government. Donations to The SPOT Fund offset the cost of new syringes, support educational and outreach materials, and the operations of our mobile clinic. Donate now

The Emergency Assistance Fund

The Emergency Assistance Fund supports the emergency needs of the most vulnerable patients and clients of Care Resource and Food For Life Network who are not covered by existing grants or restricted programming. Funds received offset expenses such as food vouchers, urgent housing assistance (mortgages, rents, or utilities payments), and COVID-19 related services including testing for uninsured/unemployed clients, and telehealth services. Food For Life Network Fund

Our Food For Life Network Food Pantry is the only Ryan White Part A funded food pantry for persons living with HIV/AIDS in Miami-Dade County. Since 1987 we have provided over 2 million meals and groceries, eliminating malnutrition and starvation for tens of thousands of clients—children and adults living with chronic illness including HIV/AIDS, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, as well as those at risk of food insecurity. Our services include food vouchers, home-delivered meals, and grocery bags. We are committed to delivering services with compassion and confidentiality, fostering clients’ dignity and independence.
