Showcasing the Talent, Vision, and Possibilities within the transgender & gender non-conforming community
Miami, FL (January 2019) – In partnership with Unity Coalition, Care Resource will sponsor TRANSART 2019, a series of events on January 26th and 27th, 2019.
TRANSART will take place at the Villain Theater at 5865 NE 2nd Ave in Miami. This event is the only program of its kind anywhere, bringing art, artists and community leaders, from across the globe for the last five years. The event brings together a collection of talents, individuals and artistic genres to create awareness, nurture aspiring artists and enlighten the general population about the many layers of the transgender community in South Florida.
Care Resource staff will be on site during TRANSART with information about the health center’s programs and services. Care Resource supports this type of programming as we are dedicated to providing affirming, expert care to the transgender and gender-nonconforming community. Our providers adhere to the Standards of Care provided by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). We also collaborate with community organizations that specialize in support services for transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals, so that they may continue to align themselves with their true gender identities.
