In support of Hispanic Heritage Month, on Tuesday, October 13th, from 12:00pm-2:30pm at the Care Resource office in Little Havana located on the 3rd floor of 1901 S.W. 1st Street, the community is invited to a special lunch-and-learn where one can enjoy a healthy lunch.
During National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th to October 15th), Care Resource recognizes the contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States. We also recognize the importance of meeting the health care needs and more of this growing community.
As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Care Resource was happy to support the “Celebra ORGULLO”Festival que exhibió artistas hispanos y tuvo música, baile, refrigerios, puestos de venta, áreas de pruebas de VIH / SIDA y más.

Las opciones nutritivas son un tema de salud importante para la comunidad hispana, ya que se ve especialmente afectada por la diabetes. Hacer ejercicio, tomar decisiones saludables y comer comidas nutritivas y en porciones es una parte clave de la prevención y el control de la diabetes. Este divertido y breve cuestionario pondrá a prueba sus conocimientos sobre fitness y salud.
