Celebrating the 19th Amendment’s Impact on Rights and Equity

Women's Equality Day August 26, 2020 is Women’s Equality Day. Care Resource recognizes this significant day in history as it marks a turning point for equal rights of women.

Not only is it the anniversary of women’s suffrage, but it also began a pathway for women to be considered equal to men in respect to employment and many other aspects.

The observance of Women’s Equality Day not only commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment, but also calls attention to women’s continuing efforts toward full equality.

As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of women securing the right to vote, the health center remembers and honors the sacrifices made by those who fought for this right. On this day, we honor all of the women who inspire, improve and strengthen our communities.

Care Resource honors Women’s Equality Day and stands against sexism, honors all voices and is committed to providing compassionate, competent and committed care to all of South Florida’s diverse communities in need every day.
