Diaper_Assistance

Beginning Wednesday, August 9th at the medical facility in Little Havana located on the 3rd floor of 1901 S.W. 1st Street, Care Resource and the Boniface and Celita Foundation are distributing free diapers and basic hygiene essentials to registered pediatric patients on an emergency basis. Afterward, distribution of these health items for registered pediatric patients will occur every other Wednesday of the month until November 2017.

The diaper and hygiene campaign will assist not only mothers, but help all under serve mothers in general to become more self-sufficient by connecting vulnerable families to much needed services in the local community. It further ensures that children and their families have access to supplies and essential items they need to remain clean, dry, happy and healthy.

According to Marcos Rivero, Medical Case Manager with Care Resource, “This collaboration with the Boniface and Celita Foundation was formed to increase public assistance and awareness for diapering supplies and personal hygiene essentials. The health center can now help provide the South Florida community with a resource that many are not normally able to provide – diapers and basic hygiene essentials.”

Care Resource is inspired by the ability to bring much needed services to vulnerable families and individuals. Our dedicated providers and staff go the extra mile each day to be welcoming, thorough and compassionate as they improve health care in our community. If you, or anyone you know is in need, please call upon us to serve you!
