Beginning Monday January 29, 2018, a weekly recovery group led by Care Resource’s compassionate, competent and committed team of Behavioral Health Clinical Counselors will meet from 6:00PM to 7:30PM at Care Resource’s office located at 3160 NW 9th St., Oakland Park, FL 33309.
The weekly recovery group will use evidenced-based interventions. It will provide clients with social support, opportunities for mindfulness, skills training, relapse prevention plans, and stress management.
Care Resource’s caring team of licensed Behavioral Clinical Counselors specialize in personalized care that focuses on the healing of the entire being – mind, body, and spirit. The health center’s primary focus is on the individual needs of each patient, tailoring a unique track of treatment to maximize one’s personal experience.
According to Sherly Constant, LCSW, MCAP, Clinical Counselor with Care Resource, “Participating in a recovery group dramatically improves one’s chance of effectively addressing addiction. Our weekly recovery group is a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere that encourages effective, life-long recovery in patients from all occupations. We strive to create a lasting bond between patients and staff and, through that bond, develop lasting relationships that promote true and permanent change.”
In addition to the weekly recovery group, Care Resource offers a wide range of outpatient behavioral health services. These services include individual, family, couple, and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol, substance abuse, behavioral health, trauma-informed care, case management, psychiatric treatment, medication management, recovery coaching and more.
