Anthony Hernandez, Member
Anthony Hernandez currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for Masada health division of Jewish Community Services (JCS of South Florida) and has served in this capacity for four years. While at Masada, he has also served in other roles defining his strengths and communicating his dependable and high level administrative experience. He has shown his abilities both logistically as well as operationally.
Upon graduation, Mr. Hernandez was recruited through a college recruitment internship at Florida Power and Light and was quickly positioned as there Human Resources Recruiter and Consultant for there Customer Relations business unit. In this role, Mr. Hernandez was exposed to the processes and procedures in the Human Resource field for this organization and had to focus on employee moral and customer service. This role served to improve both the internal and external expectations to reduce turn over and in turn create the possibility to promote from within. The skills learned during this highly demanding position served an integral role in developing the skills in making Mr. Hernandez as an asset to any endeavor he pursues. Mr. Hernandez is currently pursuing his MBA at Columbia University, through there interactive online program, he will receive his degree summer of 2011. Aside from his personal goals, Mr. Hernandez has participated for the last seven years as an integral and spirited member of the logistics team for Miami Book Fair International at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus. In this role, Mr. Hernandez spends many late nights assembling the greatest street fair in the United States with the goal to support the importance of literacy with the small sacrifice of time well spent. In this yearly commitment, Mr. Hernandez has also developed strong relationships with Administrators that once mentored him as a student and now are some of his closest friends.
